Promote Your Business

There are many ways to market your business. I have listed a few ideas on my marketing page. You can also get some ideas from Lynn Terry's article, 12-Step Online Marketing Plan.

I also recommend you check out an article by Corey Rudl, A Dozen Free Tools and Resources to to Give your Online Marketing the Edge it Needs. He highlights some great tools, most I personally use myself!

Free Ways to Promote Your Business

There are many ways you can promote your business for free online. You can find other businesses related to yours to exchange links with. You may also be able to find other businesses to barter advertising with. If your interested in bartering, I recommend visiting Moms Market Bartering Board.

You may also want to participate in a flyer exchange with other moms in business who send out Mom Packs to customers. For details on Mom Packs, click here.

Have you been in business for at least six months? If so, you may be able to get profiled for free on Business Owners Idea Cafe. At Home Mommy's has been profiled on the site and received lots of new visitors. It's a great way to get some added exposure for your business!
Network, Network, Network!

I have found that networking on message boards has been my greatest method of promotion. I have received  lots of great repeat visitors to my site, referrals from others I have networked with, made some great friends, and best of all, it's free!
